VODA UK USERS: this allows you to get rid of DRM protection!
Thanks to mwarner for this one. Edit customize.xml, and change and to true. Do a settings reset, and you can now set MP3s/AACs as ringtones!

I haven't flashed my K750 to W800. It is Voda branded, so I am stuck on fw R1AA. I was wondering if changing the CDA via Far Manager to a generic one will mean that SEUS will update it to R1CA. Any ideas?

OK, so I tried changing the CDA, CDA revision, operator, and language in customize.xml, but even after a full master reset, the phone still says it is the old CDA etc. I wonder what else needs to be done.

I'm not 100% sure, but 99% it 'll update to unbranded sw version. Choose CDA accoring to your country.

Converting from k750 to w800 using this works easy enough  (Finally it's free!!!)
I tried to remove the operator logo by tweaking the main firmware file with a hex editor, but the flashing fails. If only there was a version of davinci that could flash firmware, as well as ignore the cid. (without needing a log)
Does anyone know of such a tool? In the mean time I guess I have to wait for the darkmen to include this in sefp.

Could someone please send me all the default java app/games jar/jad from the FS, with SEFS. I did a master reset and didn't backup the content before doing that. Also, the demo video...
please, please, i need them all.
By the way, i uploaded senews and halmer certificates, did a master reset and now, i signed all the applications and the permissions asks are gone. I increased the MMS to 4Mo, DRM to be authorized, and so on.
I'm waiting for the missed original app/games.

I am wondering. Ok so it's almost possible to do so many hacking with a K750/W800. I'm a K750 user and i'm wondering if it would be possible to just add a W800 media player to my phone through the use of these hacks. I personally love my activity menu and at the same time in love with the walkman phone's ability to organize mp3's. would someone dare try to hack a K750 and turn it into a hybrid? so that people wont need to buy the w810
BTW, can anyone please post the propper step by step way in flashing into w800 free of charge many are kinda confused with all the forums and are there any glitches/side effects?:) Thanks |
