My Desktop:
Compaq V2020 laptop (now 2 years old)
Pentium M 1.6GHz, 256Mb RAM, 40GB HDD (still 27 Gig unused)
Windows XP sp2, IE7, Office 2007 Home & Student Edition
A great combination for me, not changing anytime soon.

Been using vista for some time now so here's a screenie of my vista desktop.....plain and simple with not too many icons
Notice the untitled.jpg on the desktop....for some strange reason i find that thumbnail quite amusing.
@johnex your ram score seems a bit off mate. I get 5.1 with my 2gigs of archaic ddr1.

@arien617: notice that the first open window is LINUX, that is why its an esato first . You just have a standard app open  |

it looks to me like hes using parallels that you get on a mac..
the buttons are the same...
but they dont make parallels for PC.. so i guess its something similar..
