@MFB, sorry about that. I was just really pissed off. I know how sensitive the bombing issue. It is just that paying so much is not "in" right now. You know the economy. And if you don't earn 25t a month, i don't know how you will save for the future pa.

I think gprs still free coz i still used my nokia to surf and ndi ko na mabilang kung ilang kb na. I also use my phone as a modem to my pda and wala nmn charge ata kc ndi naman nababawasan acct. ko. If u need to use ur phone as a modem just visit www.myglobe.com.ph.

@Dagger meron na syang charge kasi nag text na sila sa akin.... last sunday nag start ang charging nya... be careful sa mga nag surf kasi P .50 per kb ang charge at sobrang mahal nun!

Before they have charges, smooth surfing pa ang gprs nila. Ngayon, ang hirap ng mag surf. my fiancee and i have t68is, and pareho kaming hindi makapag surf kahit na sa anong ip address. |

I've just reloaded my phone, totalling now at Php576, and since the 27th, had downloaded 110kbytes, sent pictures via email taken with my mca-20 totalling 290kbytes. No charges yet. I'm starting to wonder when it'll charge (if they will) 
that's a total of 400kbytes, so at.50 per kbyte will amount to Php200.

So far for me wala naman charge gprs ko at more than 500kb n download ko. I use internet.globe.com.ph to connect to my pda using my phone as a modem. I also use globe.com.ph to connect via gprs using my phone and wla nman naibbwas at wla rin ko narcve na txt bout d info regarding charges.

New update guys, may bayad na daw if we use our phones as a modem, pano na di ung postpaid line ko dami na pla ako babayaran s next bill ko .50c per kb download. But if u surf wap over gprs its still free. Buti na lng i called globe for the rates, and thnks din s inyo guys. Ü

Hi! I called up 211 yesterday afternoon, may bayad na raw ang wap browsing via gprs. Since Globe didnt send any notification (like the ones they sent last week informing us that they would start charging on the 27th), I didn't believe her. I called up Globequest instead. A certain Herbert told me that "Wala pa po charge pag wap browsing, only when used as a modem. Baka nga po hindi na mag-charge ang wap over gprs e". Sana nga... |
