what about video recording??? You can expect similar results as the W800. No-one will really know until the white papers are released....

Video recording is like with W800, 176x144 and 128x96.

It has no lens cover. The orange spot on the back is both acting as a mirror for selfportraits, and to cover the external antenna connector.

Same photo/video quality as with W800 can be expected, same camera chip is used.

The screen has got same resolution as W800.

W810 got a lightsensor which will adjust screen and keypad lightning to save battery depending on how bright the eviroment is.

The software is more like W550 than W800. Meaning better Browser (fullscreen and with HTML support), support for flash desktop / flash file support, possibillity to save more contacts, backup contacts to MS, different shutting sounds etc etc.

Well, the camera modul is same in K750/W800 and in W900 however the last is capable of recording 320x240 video.. Well, the display of the W900i has QVGA resolution so maybe this is the reason.. But I hope it will be able capturing QVGA..

no joystick but a rocker pad instead. works almost as well, but not as quick in gaming. But of course when the se joystick becomes unresponsive that doesn't count for shit.

Due to the short life of SE joysticks when used extensively (seems to last forever if you don't use it in hardcore use such as gaming) the d-pad may be the solution, however it's a shame they don't seem to be persisting with the joystick to make it more hardy.

C'mon! To scale the 352x288 into the 176x144 is really not that hard and also to scale the 320x240 into 160x120! It can be done during the iDCT procedure in the frequency domain what requires less effort!

But to scale something down from 352*288 to 176*144, does not mean the vid will play at 352*288, its been encoded to fit a 176*144 screen resolution. I dont get where you're coming from A vid thats encoded at 320*240 will not play on the W800, so it wont play on W810...

Well I told that the W900i can capture the video in QVGA since the display is QVGA.
If for example the W810i will be able to capture video in 320x240 it can easily fit to the 176x220 display without excessive processing power. I've said that downscaling (during playback) in the frequency domain is really efficient when playing in the video player window. In case of full srceen playback the 320x240 -> 220x176 downsacling is a bit harder but looks better then upscaling the 176x144 video (a'la K750i) with the "nearest neighbour" method..

Well, why is it a problem?
Samsung D600, Nokia 6280, etc. have a 240x320 pixel displays and they *CAN* record videos up to 352x288 or even up to 640x480 pixels however it is bigger then the display resolution. BUT that cen be used e.g. to view it on a PC..
