Enkosi, bhuti. I'm still gonna keep the big torquey 1000cc V-twin which I have at the moment, but this second bike will be the first new vehicle that I've ever owned.
It's the very limited edition race-orientated version of the Kawasaki ZX-6R, called the er... ZX-6RR (s'true). It was only produced in small batches to meet world supersport race-homologation rules, but I'm not paying for the ridiculously pricey race kit, which is designed around the RR version- no need for it if I'm sticking to the road and not doing actual races...
Being a Kawasaki sports bike, the bodywork will be in their trademark lime green colour.
It has a close-ratio gearbox with very tall first gear, much lighter flywheel and forged pistons, and an almost insane compression ratio (for a road bike) of 13.5:1! Oh, and the rev limit is 15 500 rpm...a real screamer.
So I've now got to learn the art of running in a vehicle for the first time, and resist the obvious urge to 'get on the gas' with something as single-minded as this new boney.

OK, here goes:
Jislaaik, this kiff new Kakwasaakie Zet-Eks Sieks Aar-Aar boney has a moer-of revvy engine hey, not your average bromponie. I'm tuning you's staight, connections...g'n twak. Oh ja, and I'm not going to goffel the boney further...I'm sure I'll smaak it stukkend just as it is, ek se.
I scheme it's going to be blerrie difficult not to draai that throttle open and rev the donderse bliksem to hell and gone.

Ja-nee.
Finally watched the DVD 'Crash.'
Hell, it sure does show the ugly underbelly of racism/prejudice in America.

@da wanqsta: That new bike of yours seems impressive. Ever considered a Harley? They're gaining in popularity down here....me still thinks something should be done about their engine noise.
Didn't do anything tech related today just work stress.

Kinda looks like a boomslang in the front...or maybe I've had too much caffeine again...
Kawasaki ZX-6RR Ninja. (maybe they shoulda called it Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle instead, with the standard Kawasaki green clothing, but I guess their marketing arm knew better... )
@ da brixsta,
If I was a very wealthy bloke I would certainly have a 'Hardly Dangerous' to go with the sportsbikes, but having said that, if I had to choose ONE bike only, between a Harley and a sportsbike/superbike, the latter would always be chosen.
Perhaps I could draw the analogy in cellphone terms, if I would choose a Nokia 8800 Sirocco or a Nokia N73.
This is because Harleys are all about posing and cruising along at fairly low motorway speeds, blipping the throttle to allow the distinctive Jabba-fart, baritone, 'potato-potato' sound of those V-twin engines to be heard by all in the vicinity. Showing off chrome and all things bling.
A Harley's handling and brakes are not a patch on most modern sports bikes; I guess there's not as much need to due to the way they are ridden and styled..
Nah, a superbike that churns out phenomenal power-to-weight-ratio figures and handles and stops properly does it for me, a controlable missile of sorts.
I do have an appreciation for Harleys though, particularly original, customised ones.

A very good Friday-the-13th morning to all of you! Thanks to @wanqa for reminding me. It just has to be on a Friday-the-13th that I have two quizzes. Geez... Got the first one coming up in an hour, but I couldn't resist stopping by here first. Heh... That's a really cool bike you got there, @wanqa. Calling it the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle seems pretty apt, if you ask me. But like you said, their marketing arm knew better than to do that. Wouldn't want a bunch of kids bugging their parents to get them one for Christmas now, would they? Off to prepare for that two dreaded quizzes now, have a wonderful Friday-the-13th!

@Falcon786: Why couldn't they just make that option "send" like in all other phones because it's confusing the hell out of many people.

brix my last three phones were a N70,w800 and v3x....as far as brands are concerned i love best but the moto interface is quite powerful...use it for a few weeks and it's quicker than a nokia or and offers alot of functionality like copy and paste and synchronizing to pc with moto standard software is a much quicker and simpler affair than se and nokia....i can go on whole day bout things that moto's have which make them more user friendly and powerful than other brands but i'll spare u okes hehe just dont dis moto because u dont know the phone well....and obviously it's not the best in every aspect either!
