The neon light patten idea sounds brilliant  Sony should consider putting more LED lights on their future Smartphones as an update to their unique approach to notification lights it's about time we see smartphones that are more futuristic looking imho, pretty sure people have different taste so...

This thread was amazing at beginning but last few months it get spamed everyday with stupid unnecessary questions! I don't understand some people here, they have nothing better to do, to ask questions who never can answer, except SONY itself...
Is it so hard just to wait some more weeks to everything become official? The conversations here sounds like in a kindergarden. Always same questions and asking about XR...?! The half of this thread is just waste, you can put it in a garbage. No admin no moderator want clean it.
It's a shame that this thread fall down from top to bottom. This thread should be closed untill next announcement at least or ban some people. Nothing excited more. Everyday I read same bullsh** here.  Sorry for my f**k*n opinion.

I just skimmed through the last few pages. Honestly, I don't care much for the xenon flash. Having a good camera while sacrificing xenon to meet practicality is a safe bet for a flagship device that's estimated to sell in millions, honami is not aimed at a niche market. Also with the future developments, maybe Sony can adopt graphene sensors, which would make xenon pretty much unnecessary for a phone.

Warn users first. But first, it should be clear what is allowed to be discussed in here. Rumors and leaks, everyone can talk about it but arguments/discussions are another thing. If there would be an urge to continue such discussion, go talk privately or whatever that would keep your discussion out of the Rumors thread. Questions are allowed, of course, and do ask again if you feel it has been unnoticed and drowned because of the flood of unnecessary things in the thread. But f*cking asking the same question again and again everyday just because your question is being ignored should not be tolerated in here. You should know why it is being ignored, otherwise you're too young to be in here.

I think my ideal would be be to include Xenon and have a slim phone with a 'hump' to accommodate the camera internals. A slim phone with a big sensor + Xenon would be great and I wouldn't say that was outside the realms of possibility.

Guys hope you all remember Sony Ericsson phones had small mirror,which we are seeing it while taking the photos ,but we haven't seen this ,its missing,my question is ,is it useful now in high end smart phones?and also sony should use two quick buttons on top of phones to quick access photos taken:) loved that features

No, because in most high end phones you can switch from the back camera to the front to take a self portrait shot.

I don't think it is. For the same quality of shot nowadays you can use the front facing cam and the mirror is too small to appropriately frame a shot worthy of a higher quality rear cam.
