when I had it.. the system was set to NTFS..
I never had any Restore disc's from acer they didn't stick them in the box with it.. I emailed them bout the disc's constantley but they took too long So I just got XP pro and put that on...it's sorted now..
they have sent me cdr's now tho

That's rotten luck. It's a shame I didn't know you then, I could have burnt you a copy. One of my customers only buys Acer kit, they've got nearly every model
