@ da brixsta,
Have you seen this BBC article about how the Pakistan cricket team apparently allowed their faith to 'distract' them, according to their very own media manager, Pervez Mir?:

@Hobbs, I don't want to put you in a bad mood or something, but I very much doubt you'll see 'lots' of UIQ-3 apps been released in the near future (or not so near). The thing is, developers are where the money are and atm s60 seems to be the way to go . Greetings from a wet Jeffreys,
Mario.

ROLMAO, the man's got an EGGScellent sense of humour. (sorry about the daft play on words; perhaps been exposed to too many crap Pom tabloids around me... )

@ KBR,
I gotta say that I'm very surprised that of all the excuses that they could have generated, probably the most inflammatory one surfaced from their very own media manager.
Here's another article about it:
http://content-uk.cricinfo.co[....]tent/current/story/289265.html

Greg Chappell, India's (now former) coach, gets quote of the day though, albeit an obvious one:
"To be like Australia, you can't work like Zimbabwe.."

Indeed they do, and a little HOBBnobbing (sic ) about the pros and cons of the major Symbian platforms is healthy... I enjoy UIQ3 immensely and all things said, it remains my fave platform.
Come on , where for art thine quiver of rumoured new cyber-shot and UIQ phones...?!

@da wanqsta & Kabir: Over the last couple of years Islam was seen as a positive influence on the Pakistani team and it showed in their results. When they were here there no reports of late-night partying with Jozi strippers. But there's also the aspect where someone like Yousuf Yohana was "forced" to convert from Christianity to Islam because he didn't "fit" in.
@mario2004 aka He of little faith in all things UIQ: That was quite cheeky. Have you even followed the latest development WRT UIQ after it was bought by and their committment to R&D and making the SDK accessible to developers.

Far canal! I can hardly believe this dire performance... another big upset for the bookies? Bangladesh are looking to be deserved victors with this one.Or is SA aiming to finish fourth at the end of the Super 8's to avoid meeting Oz in the semis?
