A chair in a design exhibition in a gallery near my house. Look at this picture, object at the distance of 50 cm or les suffer from the lens defect of S700.
It showed clearly the barrel distortion of the lens. See the left part of the picture, the profil at the white wall and the the display cupboard. It is not really straight, but a bit elips to the inner side.
Most of the cam phone suffer badly from this optical defect cause the size and the focal length is very short.

It was only prince philp and the queen that were at the parade,i was about 10ft from her,took some pictures but they somehow got corrupted and when i try and view them on my phone it just shows a torn picture. |
