I'm just guessing on the price...

can go 2 ways... one, P40~P42K initial price for the P900... or if they intend to phase out the P800 quickly, they will sell the P900 at P35K and drop the price of the P800... same as what they did with the T68i and T610

If ever, I intend to get my P900 from Semicon or Globotel (where I got my P800) ... I'm NOT going to get a gray market unit. I want to support Philippines and I want them to know that the Philippines is an important market to protect... if we get our units from Greenhills... or abroad... HQ will not know that these units are sent to the Philippines... they will see markets in other countries grow.

I want them to know that WE MATTER!

Anyway... I'm actually not in a big rush to sell my P800... I just want the next owner to still have a few months warranty... para naman he/she knows that my P800 is in good shape... it's an added bonus... para at least may free SW upgrades pa if ever.

So anyone who's interested... P28K (neg) complete boxed set... with CD of apps... and Billionton Bluetooth USB plug!

Welcome to the club.
Just dont bang your head on the wall when the P900 comes out.
But I guess you got a good deal with your P800. Enjoy!

That's the very reason why I got this unit... to see if it would be worth getting the P900... I've been using a T610 and Ipaq 5450 combination ever since. I've been the enjoying the P800's games so far...

If you transfer your contacts and calendars to the P800, you can leave the Ipaq at home bring only one gadget with you. Download Tracker 3.1 for a good desktop and Today view, as well as other other built in utilities.

hello

check Smartnet Corner (PH) or SESS Corner (PH) for latest updates on firmware.

the very first page (very last if in descending order yun posts) has their addresses and phone numbers.

Just downloaded the latest PCSuite for P900/800. It's not as stable as I thought it would be. 3 times I have had to restart my computer because I got an error message saying that I am out of memory or system resources. Wonder if any of you guys also have the same experience.

i would like to share something...

i was sending an sms and i accidentally closed the application, and the new sms i was creating was saved to the draft folder. i went back to it and tried to delete it but it said the message was corrupt. i can't delete it and it's quite annoying to see it there.

is there any way i could delete it? i tried master reset but it was still there.

help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

thanks 619...

is that a bug? coz my p8 is running an R1D, and i am thinking that it's a firmware problem.

i'll try to figure out how to go to smartnet. i'm not familiar with makati area. hehe!

can anyone tell me how to get there? let's say my starting point is roxas blvd (hmmm... baclaran)

check out smartnet thread... buendia near cor. of paseo de roxas... if u have car, u can park at their parking lot .. jupiter entrance.

yup.. have it upgraded... free if your unit is under warranty. if not, P450 only.

From Roxas blvd you can turn right @ EDSA then left @ Ayala (since there's no left turn from Edsa to GilPuyat/Buendia). Then turn right @ Makati Ave then turn right again @ Paseo De Roxas. you'll reach Buendia (Smartnet is on the left side). Cross Buendia then left @ Jupiter (if you're goin to park at the back)

or From Roxas Blvd you can turn right @ GilPuyat/Buendia. Smartnet is fronting Metrobank (after you've crossed Makati Ave).

I was in greenhills yesterday.
Didn't see anyone selling a P900 yet.
But I did see the 6600. Price ranges from 25,000 to 27,000.
But of course we are interested in the P900 not the 6600.
FYI.

@jplacson

The Philippines is indeed in the radar screens of SE. In fact I read an article stating that we are the biggest market in Asia for the P800.
