I was at the bar when I wrote that last post- just taking a break from a crowded dancefloor.

@ Jmash, i am registered on bidorbuy and i dont think they bother me, or maybe they stopped. if they do, at the bottom of the mail they usually have a thing of 'do you want to stop receiving mails' link. it usually works.
want to go see 300, really looking forward to it:)
funny story, we sometimes have this movie quiz on the legendary stoep. last night was one again, just for kicks...

So one of the songs was some obscure 80s track no one could get, and one guy jokingly said 'Jan de Wet', who is a South African Afrikaans Christian artist. So tonight we had this art exhibition at our church with an acoustic set by Reana Nel, NiaNell's younger(and more amazing) sister. After it all me and a friend were sitting around chatting, guess who walks by? Jan de Wet!

I have the W850i (Luving it stukkend), the memory your have in your w810 will fit (Pro DUO), which is cool so you can just plug and play your tunes, unlike the newer " K" series which uses the M2 memory. An added bonus is that the w850i comes with a 1GB card and the as far as i know the K800... etc does not come with additional memory.
w850i has 2mp, although not as good as its previous models, no auto focus, and zoom not possible at res 2mp, you have to lower your res !! ... very dissapointing, although it takes printable pics fast.
It has 3G, mobile TV ( if you can afford to pay R59 per channel per month on vlive) , radio is standard these days.
I only wish i could have gotten those stero outputs with my phone, my amp would be pumping at home!!
The new sliding form factor from SE is new but works well and actually feels better than some of those other samsungs.
It has the option to answer calls when opened, but not to disconnect when you close.... which i actually like.... time and time again i have dropped calls by accidentaly closing those stupid samsungs.
also has the nice new option whether you want your phone to charge or not via the USB cable
I might sound biased and i probably am, but it's in the little things that SE impresses me.

@ w810iv
As far as the earphones go i think they are the same, however honestly i still preffered my K750i earphones.
I think it had more bass, and i don't particularly like sticking these new small rubbery things in my ears.
They never stay there, if i went to gym with them, i would have to keep stopping them from falling out.
If you wathc the SE ads, they go jogging with the things in there ears. but if i try..... well i would be running with my fingers in my ears.
But maybe it's jusy my ears!!
not sure which charger you got with your W810, but with my K750, you couldn't use the radio and charge the phone at the same time... but the new charger that came with the W850i and also the K800i now has the plug on the back so you listen to the radio through the speaker without worring about your battery life.
speaker... hmm ... not bad for such a small speaker, higher end fequencies are goodish, but the lower end bass is still missing some bass, the louder you put it the worse it sounds, but then again, it's not a HiFi, that's why you can get the music cable and the MPS-60 - portable speakers.
The Video calling works well, just remember being on vodacom you have to have your SIM enabled for making video calls... found out the hard way after i couldn't get the darn thing to work. |

@W810iv: Would reasonably expect the W660 to be here by winter.
@Doopsy: Are you serious? Do you want to part with cash money for that bug-ridden phone? Maybe I'm a bit too harsh on the P990. For about the same money you could buy something like the HTC TyTn which is not quite perfection but surely better than the
Just got news yesterday that one WirelessMonkey will be editing the Vodaworld magazine So expect more plugs for Esato in that mag.
