@ da brixsta,
Yup, they certainly have that reputation. Their home ground is called 'The Den'...and I'm sure that I've mentioned here before, their anthem is 'Nobody Likes Us, But We Don't Care...'
That's what makes The Isle of Dogs on the east side of the city so amazing, you've got Millwall FC and the like on the same 'isle' as the biggest corporate buildings and financial hubs in this rejuvenated, developing part of the east side of the city. Canary Wharf, the financial giant Citigroup, Barclays are all closeby. What a contrast in such close proximity to each other.
One of the members of staff's dad is an ardent Millwall supporter, and he's offered to organise tickets for his son Rob and I to watch a match or two later this season. Should be interesting...apparently a lot of the stuff about Millwall nowadays is just hype, but where there's enough smoke...

I guess a disaster is what would happen when the planets allign and a ocean swell pushes through durban. forget a spring tide, something rather closer to a tsunami!! |

LOL, quite funny listening to the cricket match on the go at the moment, between Ireland and England. The commentator says "...and Botha bowls to Pietersen..."
LOL, with SA names like those in the 2 teams, it sounds like a provincial game!
BTW, my apologies to those who don't follow the cricket; don't mean 'hijack' a mobile discussion to such an extent.

Howzit Bafowethu Does anyone know of an on-line shop where I can buy a LCD Monitor for my PC without having to register on that particular site.I really hate registering on websites, because once you do that next thing they are flooding your mail box with crazy e-mails.I just want to go to the on-line shop, buy what l want & leave in peace.

@jmash: Sometimes living out in the sticks can be a massive disadvantage.
First off: Do you have a credit card?
Secondly: Do you want to buy from a local site or an international one like eBAY?
If you've answered the first question in the affirmative then there should not be much of a hassle.
Just use a secondary email address if you want to avoid spam.
I've got an eBAY account which I've not used in more than a year and usually I just ignore their emails.

Eish, wish I could help there, jmash. Like da brixsta has, I have a separate email account for all online purchases etc.
Cellphone news: the W610i is now available from O2 in the UK, introduced to the market costing just under 150 (approx R2100).

The Z310i is also now available from them, costing 69.99 (approx R980).

That's a very open-ended request, boet.
We'll gladly do our best to help, but it'll help if you narrow down a list by checking out what models are available from your network, within your contract parameters/ price plan.

ROFLMAO!!! I just got back from watching 300, certainly my type of movie, and based on a period in history which i've always enjoyed learning more about. It's really such an improvement on the silent movies we watched when i was a boy. Those were the days... riding into town on the old cart, struggling to control the horses every time one of those newfangled horseless carriages passed us.
BTW, i see that Thabo has been asked to help bring the situation in Zim under control. Yeah right... and George Bush is intelligent.

@W810iv: It would help if u said which network u were on. I'm trying to smokkel a high-end phone when it comes time for my upgrade later this year.
Check which phones are available on your network and maybe the collective wisdom of the SAMD will be able to advise you.
