You need to change your CDA using the davinchi app, as the SEUS site reads your IMEI and sees that your phone is only to be upgraded with vodafone software, i had the same problem with my O2 750, even after debranding, so i reflashed, changing the CDA at the same time, and now it works fine on the SEUS update service
For the record, I think someone discusses this earlier in this thread and gives the details that you need to change |

Yeah, those were some of the fixes added in the R1J firmware, as compared to R1A - but the R1L only seems to fix the GPRS/MMS bug that was introduced with R1J.

Im with Orange UK. I updated succesfully from UK SEUS to R1L002.
Picture quality is excelent, but video is awful compared to the original.
Bookmarks now disapear after shutdown, whereas previously they remained.

I have an idea. why dont SE make customised firmwares.
to improve a component, they are screwing other. like the F/w R1J had a lot improvement in controlling standby crashes but it degraded picture and video quality and intorduced gprs problems. R1L fixed the gprs but no improvement in pic & vid. quality.
They can release different f/w's optimised for different components.
A f/w for Picture & video quality.
A f/w for better call management.
A f/w for better connectivity.
Hey........ This dosen't work. Better SE make a single f/w and make upgrades. this was just an idea.

That's not a good idea IMO!

Wouldn't it be far better for SE to release a firmware which does all of those things? After all, a lot of us paid around £300 for a phone which has those features and still can't use them.
A question: I'm on R1J, is it worth me upgrading to R1L? |

No probs with R1L, but...
does anybody already use the R1N Firmware? |

that was just an idea if SE cannot make single stable f/w which balances everything.

@nabraxas: Not really, unless you have problems with GPRS or MMS. Then again, it doesn't seem to hurt - so far noone has reported any new bugs added with R1L. |

Just to let people know.
If you have Orange K750i and you updated your last phone to R1J and you got the nice SE icons instead of the Orange ones.
Then dont update to R1L. The revert back to the Orange ones.
I have noticed tho that wap is faster at browsing and folders are quicker when browsing |
