Q3 for Sega could be May-July... we know Q2 for SE is April-June. |

I hope the phone comes with at least one 3D game, you know, as a demo or something to snub out N-gage owners who think only their phone can play games in 3D !

That blue tinted frame on k700 looks like on my blue t68i. I agree with the most of you that the silver one looks better.

In try the phone, go to file manager...
choose a file and select manage file....
U can see that theres an option for "move to external mem"
---> there WILL be an f700, they are just using back the software

That option might only be used to send files to another phone or a computer with BT or IR. That was my initial thought.

Surely then it would be "send to other device" ? |

Perhaps the k700 really will hate a memory slot and se will not announce it till the day the phone is released. Now that is wishfull thinking. Would be a great marketting strategy though, would blow the competition away even more

that will be terrible marketing strategy as many people will have already bought another phone with expansion capability if that was important to them, because they were expecting the K700 not to have expansion capability.
it won't happen anyway, of course

Shall I wait for the F700? That's now the question that will be asked in several threads (includes new ones) in the coming weeks...
I'll buy the K700, then wait for the S700 (with external memory ) and buy that too!

i've never understood why people would choose to wait on a phone that hasn't even been confirmed by SE,
I understand people can't afford to buy phones, when ever a new on come's out, like myself,
But why wait, surely you'll have just as much fun the the K700 as you would have with a "F700", which in theory could be six months way?
Because the K700 is SE flagship candybar model, at the present time so just be happy and don't worry whats round the corner,
as if you live your life that why you would never buy a new phone, or car, or PC, or TV, etc.....
If you want it,
If you can afford It,
JUST BUY IT

Question: How come the esato review of the K700 says only 32MB of memory on board, of which 12-14MB could be useable by the user.
From Bengalboy's review (his phone has no games/themes installed), it shows the phone with 40MB+ free. The Dutch SE site under press releases says the phone will have 41MB on board.
Any chance of updating the review?? |

Here is some piece of info. The chief at the local service centre told me that r2a026 was the latest FW version as far as he knew. Sorry if this has been posted earlier.

sources say there is 45mb but i dont believe them. i think it was a guy from mobile review called brad or something but i cant remember. he said that the 4 mb was unaccesable to the user and the rest was for the user to store contacts etc.
what i cant wait for is what colours will release the k700 in! a green would be class but freaky
