For me the Xperia T is the better phone for my needs as it has the following over the Nexus 4:
Micro SD support
FM Radio
Better camera
Slightly better battery life (although not much in it).
Support for Android 4.2 on Xperia T would be nice but not critical to me.

Ah cheers guys, at the moment I'm using a lumia 820, the old xperia s that I had was rubbish so I thought I would give wp8 a go lol.
But I've now got a nexus7 and I really want to go back to android with my phone, so my choices are a nexus4 or the xperia t.
How good is the camera on the xt ?

Apparently the Xperia Z is not gonna have a camera button, if so that's very poor from Sony, Sony and Nokia are the only companies who put these on their phones, if Sony stop doing this me and a lot of other people won't be happy. |

Not only Sony and Nokia. Any manufacturer that makes a Windows phone Microsoft require a camera key

That's true.
What I imagine is the situation of T/V:
T has a button, V which is durable, has not.
This may happen wih Z/ZL,
if you see the leaked photos - ZL has a button and may be the design flagship...
Let's hope for that, I need a button.

Hi, I currently own a Xperia Arc, and was wondering if some of the owners of the Xperia T come from an Arc.
Id like to know how better do you feel the camera on the T is, comparing it to the Arc, especially in low light situations. Do you see an improvement in photo quality in these situations or is it pretty much the same? (Does the T uses an Exmor RS sensor or the same Exmor R as the Arc?)
If any V user could add an impression it would be nice too...

I've had Arc, have T.
Arc was very good in night shots, there is no revolutionary change on T
but the pics are more detailed and I'd say are a bit better than on Arc.
Especially in lowest light situations.

So now I have the problem since today.
I just bought 32GB Class 10 card for my T,
When I connect my T through USB to my PC, file explorer is seeing only 2 latest photos on my DCIM folder,
and only 2 music albums in music, however I have about 30 albums there.
What is that?! Xperia itself is seeing all the files through 2 different file explorers,
and the card connected through the adaptor my PC is also showng all the existing content.
What is also strange, unmounting my phone from my PC freezes the computer for like 20 seconds.
Any clues?!

I'm still new to Android so I can only guess at Doministry's issue.
1. I think internal memory of Xperia T has the photos - Windows Explorer may show them if you drill into "sdcard" vs "extcard" (I think that's what the MicroSD is called on Android; since its external).
2. alternatively, disconnected from PC, you could move the pics/music to the MicroSD card using file explorer of some kind, then the PC when mounted should show it.
3. Windows freezin?? I suspect the format of the card is not being liked and should be "safely disconnected" unless you have a picture viewer app opened to the MicroSD card when Xperia is connected.

Thanks mate. However I am quite experienced Android user.
That means I am browsing the place where the files really are, meaning ext_card - memory card I just bought.
As opposed to built-in memory card beeing "sdcard".
I use two different file explorers on my phone and they clearly show the content I am looking for.
As I mentioned, SDCard taken off the phone and put into PC correctly shows everything.
The problem is that PC doesn't see the content which was manually moved from internal "sdcard" to the new "ext_card"
within the phone - with the file Xplorer. And now the PC just doesn't anything of it.
However I put my music from the PC to my phone to it's "ext_card" just a few days ago the same way.

Ok resolved for now here:

Switching to mass storage mode on the phone made it.
Pity that Sony's engine for media transfer is not that good.

Thanks for your reply, doministry... Are the pictures taken with the T, less noisy in low light?

Well... You just can't expect noise-free pics in low light, right?
I mean in really bad conditions - there is no chance.
But I can say it's a bit better, definitely.
Pics are also less shaky in really darker situations.
But I also must say that all of the latest top Xperias (Arc, S, T) are able
to take some great night shots.
T is not such a massive leap but certainly is better.
The only thing in those situations - steady position.
Shots made by the phone which was set stable are really great.
With a little noise.

I would suggest to hold back on the purchase if your expecting a better camera. Even though its higher pixel, quality wise its marginally better. I would say go for Z instead. Otherwise, I am really happy with it, and would say, its a worthy successor to arc. Infact, its more comfortable to use, because of the location of power button and the camera key is easier to press.
