Hi everyone!
I've got exams so I can't reply all posts. I had a quick read and would like to tell the following.
The Manual Shutter mode is fine. It's not meant for AUTO POINT AND SHOOTING.
At EV 0.0 in Manual Shutter, the shutter speed is 1/50s or so. Hence pictures get darker. Manually select shutter speed by changing EV in that mode.
......
The mirror and VDR modes are in manual settings tab 2 option 2.

Can someone help me?
I am experiencing the "green spot" problem on my C905.
(Shot is taken with an iPhone 4, the same problem appears on these as well, just posted it as an example)
It only appears in room light conditions or lower light conditions and being a perfection-maniac I must say it is pretty annoying!
It doesn't appear when I use the flash unless I take a close photo of a white/greenish wall.
I don't believe it was there before!
I have tried replacing camera drivers, should I reflash the phone now?
SOLVED:
It happens because of the CFL light I am using in my room, almost every camera should have the effect.

I don't think this has anything to do with the driver but when I try to set my speedlight to strobe mode I get a really bad banding on the frame.... maybe its the refresh rate of my light vs the c905a but I cant seem to get away from it.... Ive tried strobing at 3-20fps as well 30-100hz but every time I get the same effect.... anybody know how to avoid this?

Strobe mode is the ability to fire a flash multiple times in VERY rapid succession.... a speed light is basically a camera's flash unit... the particular speed light I'm using (Nikon SB-800) can emit up to 24 flashes of light at the rate of up to 100 cycles per second (100hz). So, if you extend the length of your exposure you can get many bursts of light into one picture... here is example of 3fps @ 100hz
and here is 24fps @ 100hz....
as you can see it lets you see the full sceen but freezes any action at the rate of flash.... ie, first picture you can count 3 blades for every one on the fan.... and 24 on the other shot...... very cool for stopping fast action and still showing movement......
bounce a golf ball and get something like this.....

That's actually more a functionality of the nikon strobes... The c905 can however remotely fire/trigger those lights.
