I hope its not touch sensitive, I was worried that pushing the D-pad would be tough because of my big fingers but touch sensitive would be impossible to control. |

I think it does. I love the feature too. You're never short of music to buy with that feature.

Anything over 3.0 MP in a phone means nothing. Beyond 3.0 MP the difference is not significant in a cam phone. Other than to brag that you have 5.0 MP.
Technology has come a long way in cam phones, but not the same as a digital camera. Not yet atleast. It will get there eventually.
Nice phone though......

I hope your not talking about the same engineers that approved the joystick in the K800i. |

All of this
....well the the ENGINEERS have tested this for months now and it will work....
The statement is very ignorant IMHO. I think every engineer thinks he did its job when the product is finished. That still doesn't change the fact that the finish product will work well. |

I doubt it would be touch sensitive, it would make the d-pad horrible 2 use, and u would press it more accidently esspecially when typing

if only the phone's imaging sensor is CCD. it'll be worth an upgrade camera wise to the K810. a 5mp camera with a regular CMOS sensor delivers no more quality compared to a 3mp otherwise it's a CCD. CCD sensor takes more light than CMOS does and it has better color reproduction and wider dynamic range. comparing a CMOS and CCD of the same size or even CCD is a little smaller, CCD clearly wins by a wide margin, no wonder why SE S700 become the best imaging phone for European market even it's sensor is smaller then the best CMOS 1.3mp camera nokia 6630

@razec
But CCD costs more money and drains more power than CMOS sensors. And let me remind you that Canon still uses CMOS sensors on their high end dSLRs.
But in 'general' terms you are right. CMOS isn't normally as good as CCD, but the difference is not as great as it once was. For camera phones, CMOS will do fine for the average consumer.
