@Bavlondon2 and all,

Well sorry but those tiny visuals and additional gimmicks are not what counts when it comes to Music players it's how it sounds first and foremost everything else is secondary.

You may well feel the N95 8GB Music interface is primitive but it is more than good enough for what i want or need as again what counts is how it sounds and as my device has both a more powerful processor and DSP it sounds a lot better than the Walkman phones i have tried. As the W960 has the same hardware i really can't see how the Music quality can of improved however nice the visuals are it is how it sounds that counts and nothing else.

As for this

"Oh and btw there isnt that much difference to the human eye between 16mil and 262k colours. I had the N93 and N93i aswell so can testify to that."

Oh please get real this is just the argument of a defeated intellect as why then do all our screens including Plasma and Lcd not make do with 256k screens then?

The answer if very simple as while the eye may not be able to register so many colours it helps show depth and greater clarity of the images and colours.

I'm sure as soon as SE has them the will be the best thing ever and oh just so wonderful but of course until then well there rubbish and not necessary, just how stupid do you think the rest of the world that isn't obsessed by SE is. Much the same as when i was pointing out what advantages and how good HSDPA was it was nothing of any importance but now that SE at last has this it's just so great. Sorry but some of you really are just so funny and transparent. Buy whatever you want it really doesn't bother me in the slightest but this latest ad greatest form SE is still all old tech dressed up as new, no new processor, no new screens , no HSDPA, no WiFi G and of course no Demand paging either just all the same hardware as the poor old P990 but with an extra 64mb Ram and more shortcuts whop dee do how thrilling.

Marc

Dogman do you know the index number of the DSP on the N95?

Im interested to compare it to the DAC33 chip used on the 5610.

Why is this phone taking so long to go on sale? Is SE gonna wait til it becomes irrelevant? They must improve their announcement to market time gap.

Postponed to January it seems. Have seen both first and second week release dates now. This gives time to rethink and maybe choose something else. Well this phone never seemed like a 100% thrill anyway. Too much of reusing-existing-technology-as-long-as-you-can-get-away-with-it mentality. Nokia N95 8 GB - the only thing I hold against it is the nicer over all look of the uiq user interface. Plus I do admit to having some brand loyalty towards SE.
