Hello
can't understand what all the crying is about!I would rather wait for a decent firmware to be released from se rather than a quick bodge job firmware!Also the phone aint that unstable on the present firmware if you think it is you should throw it in the bin and buy a nokia and Stop twisting on and on!
Kind regards

I've got a K800i on Orange UK, firmare is R1CB001. For other phones have Orange allowed firmware updates to take place on their phones ?

My phone seems to crash when listening to radio/media player and I get an incoming call. Seems to be around weak signal areas.

My phone also stops receiving and being able to make calls, full signal shown on phone. Orange reckoned it was cause "a transmitter was down". I can smell it from here......

wonder if they improved the message inbox.. it lags and stalls once you get over a few hundred messages...makes it impossible to organize for deleting etc..

I hear you dude. I have been saying this for about 2 weeks, but you have your whiners, crybabies, complainers, etc..... that in the end will still find a reason to complain no matter what. If you look at their names within this thread, you will see their history of complaining. Some people need a life outside of their phone.

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here?

@datboililp

Can't say that I've noticed any lag to speak about since flashing to the latest firmware. [addsig]

Regarding the phone problems. Yes Orange are correct. Orange over the last 3 weeks have had major problems over there 3 g networks. People havnt been able to make and receive calls as well as sms. The fault should have now been fixed.

Even though you have a full signal doesnt mean anything, Your simcard is linked to a transmitter some where in the uk. if anything happens to the transmitter you are normaly transfered onto a 2ns and 3rd one as a precaution. However if these are congested then the calls dont always go through.

Hope this helps

The answer is yes. However Orange have to approve the Firmware from SE, So th update may not be on straight away. Coul be a month or so later. On occasions the updates have been on a couple of days after.

Hope this helps.
