I remember the P900 being something like £650 when it first appeared on Expansys...

Expansys usually put silly prices on before release, they did that first with the p800 a few years back. Pay no heed, it will be much cheaper.

He's getting it around about now-next week and i think it's wither in dubai international airport or in duty free section on emirates airline. |

I dont mean to sound a sceptic, but i doubt it.
Usually SE phones come out in places like Sweden first, a middle eastern airport simply doesnt sound like the place SE would normally release their first batch of handsets.

Actually Dubai was the first place (or at least one of the first) the P800 was released and I'm talking about a proper consumer sales package not pre-release. So I don't think it's out of the realms of possibility that the P990 will come out there first. Whether it's at airport duty free or one of the phone retailers in the city is of little consequence........ |

Does it really matter where the phone is first released? the important thing is that it gets released. Dubai or Sweden, doesn't matter. |

how much we lookin at for the handset on contract as an upgrade then? i reckon around £250 - 300 - thats what i bought my p900 for when it first came out on contract and that werent an upgrade?
im still hoping for an early june release! |
