YourT29 kronan doesn't look right, the flip has a prototype design(?) and could the color match with other T29? The color seems to be not standard Amethyst Purple or Sapphire Blue. Weird!!
It's hard to analyze pictures, I want to hold them and analyze them with my own eyes

PM if you want a volume slider, I have some standard T39 to take spare parts from

I finally managed to get some pictures from a part of my collection.

Here are the triplets:

They're all in as new condition

And some of my T28's:

I finally managed to get all the colors, but unfortunately not all in top condition; but working.
The Marble Beige one is a very early Swede with limeted firmware; it doesn't even have the flipcounter

@103ssv Very nice indeed! Beautiful triplet.

@stolleman I dont know what is right. Since it is for the army it should have been green.

Really nice pics, I'll hope for more pics of your collection.
What does the label on your Marble Beige says? If it could be a P or even a FP

@torshammer

@Stolleman

Unfortunatele no P or FP, just a regular R1d from week 48 of '99 still in it's original box
I even have a slightly older one, also R1d week 46 of '99 wich is still simlocked.
I have to find a solution for that, the local handy shop can't unlock older Ericsson anymore

@103ssv
That is pretty early for boxed T28
I have noticed the printing on the buttons doesn't feel the same if you compare one T28 from Sweden and one from Malaysia, the one from Sweden feels slighter better.
Locked phones is annoying, devils invention

@torshammer
EP = Engineer Prototype
FP = Factory Prototype
P = Prototype

The final unit says:
R= Revision

Now you know

The buttons on Swedis Ericsson seem to be slighly engraved compared to the Malaysia ones wich are flat.
If you have a sharp eyesight (and you know how to look) it is possible to see it onder the right conditions.

@stolleman Thanks! On the C450S it says P1C and on the GSM Home base station it says R1A/FP2
How do you explain that?

R1A seems to be a pre prodution (or first) run or something?
Does anyone here have a phone labelled R1A?
I guess not.

@friends
Found two other images on my PC of two devices in my collection.

ER209i is a beautiful piece.

Then I have a R190SAT with a special case. A blue case covering even the antenna.

@103ssv
That is exactly what I have found out
It's hard to se the first time but after you've learned you can tell by looking on the buttons where it's from
I have to take a look if I have an R1A..

My S1088(early T28 prototype) was made 98W28, more then one year before it was released but it's a FP1

@torshammer
Ok, for your P1C:
P = Prototype
1 = Major update
C = Minor update

R1A/FP2:
R = Revision
1 = Major update
A = Minor update
/
FP = Factory Prototype
2 = Major update

I think R1A is for the firmware and FP2 is for the hardware.

@Stolleman:

wow, nice back cover for the GF788, it is surprising too see that then years after the end of Ericsson only phones there are still new things to discover about Ericsson

This would have been very interesting too in the time of Boba Fett, r0sewhite, Tigerente etc.

This forum has become a success again, after several years of poor participation, thanks to you and all the other new and old members, like torshammer, ginz, 103ssv etc.

@torshammer: I see you made a very good picture of the ER209i enjoy
