I found a link myself. The RX1 looks more like the "Uhura" concept.
They played around with many cool protos in RTP at that time. I learn everyday!

I have not had time to go second-hand shopping today. It is à beautiful day with snow and sunshine.
There are a few devices on the way with DHL. I am really Looking forward to them.
@stolleman @priffe What is the link to the collection of your friend?
@all Do anyone else know something about the middle dark antenna cover looks-like on the Pamela.
Now I am even unsure if that was the codename of the communicator. |

Hello again all, Stolleman is back
@torshammer
It was a comment on facebook, search for IMA Shop
What does RTP stands for?
About the black thing, is it easy to remove and does it contain any electronic?
According to the label, should the model be Ericsson C450S? sounds in some way kind of right.

@stolleman I thought you all were gone and I was alone in the universe... Collecting Ericsson.
RTP stands for Research Triangle Park. It is an area around Rayleigh, Durham in North Carolina.
Ericsson had an large facility there.
The black thing is not possible to remove. It looks like some electronics behind.
Yes, it says C450S. C for Communicator maybe? |

@torshammer
You're not alone collecting Ericsson, not even in Sweden
I wonder if it can be an antenna then, I haven't seen yet an antenna containing electronics.
One thing is for sure, it's hard to get information about rarities.

@all
Got this one today! I am really happy. This is the GSM home base-station prototype from 1998.
It is based on Emma (GF788) and mirrored as a base station connected to PSTN.
Front with on-off button and small leds.
Side with a flat stand
Back with the SIM card (Yes!) in the upper right corner. In the top middle a power connection and a PSTN connection

@stolleman The Communicator seems not to have WLAN but GPS. Maybe it is the GPS antenna?

I searched for GPS antennas and todays antennas is much larger then the one on Pamela but I don't know, maybe it is an GPS antenna? maybe we never will know
@bucheral
You're going to have a wonderfull time from now on, I promise
Drop in when ever you want, we will be waiting here.
And maybe in your next Ericsson video I will hear a baby crying
@deevonn
Hi!
Models like T28 and T39 is very easy to find at local "buy & sell"-sites or auction sites, maybe Ebay?
GF388 is older and could be harder to find but if you look from time to time you will find one.
I could only tell the local price in Sweden as far as I know, T28 and T39 is very popular and could cost from 7 euro up to 30 if it is like new. GF388 is older but much cheaper, in good condition maybe 6-10 euro.
How the price and availability in Indonesia is i can't tell
