@ medusa,
Yhu, that's quite a larny area of south-west London. Not quite Chelsea, Mayfair or Kensington, but not too shabby at all..

@da wanqsta: Any news on when the N95 will be available in the UK? The most hyped phone has been delayed for way too long. I'm still loving my battered N70. It's been everywhere with me and it's camera has come in handy on many an occassion when I just wanted to take a quick snap.

@ da brixsta,
There are a few on eBay already, which seem genuine from trusted sellers, but they're in the region of £460-odd and above at the moment! Typical ridiculous initial-batch-flagship-cellphone costs on places like eBay..
Should be a far more sobering price after the next 2 months or so, as is usually the trend.
The local CPW store confirmed that they will be getting stock in 2 weeks' time, as do mphone. Mobilefun is also taking pre-orders now.

@ Gucci, when i took my phone in it was exactly the same firmware. now like a formatted pc, it ran better, in other words, i could have just wiped my phone myself with the reset function. luckily they scratched my phone, so i complained and told them they will come fetch my phone and fix the problem. think i got a new handset as it was spotless and ran like a dream again. vodacom can be full of...

the best would be to get the phone unbranded, then you don't have all the vodafone crap dragging your phone behind. for goodness sake, my phones menus looks exactly the same as a Bosch phone, and any other vodafone phone. vodafone branding is from the devil.
did you see the bond movie? there is a snippet of how the menus look like on a unbranded phone. i want that...

What, has the N95 been delayed? Nokia does not mention anything about that!. I expect it in a few weeks (as usual with nokia the new arrivals are a week or 2 late).

@ Mario,
I'd be surprised if it's officially available in SA within a few weeks. Dare I say that, traditionally, there is a 3-odd month gap from when the European countries get the new Nokia and compared to SA, whereas Samsung and others release theirs far more simultaneously worldwide. ( Judging from various other handset launches over the past few years.)
Now I certainly don't know if the Nokia importers intend to buck the trend with this handset, but I presume that it'd be a very optimistic notion to expect the N95 so soon in SA...I stand corrected though.
The UK would be lucky to get their initial batches within the next 2 weeks, so I dunno...

That's encouraging to hear re in SA, particularly after lengthy waits like with the P990i, which, as we know, were compounded with all the EU delays and issues with the handset.
Hopefully Nokia follows suit...
