Just got the phone last year. It needs to stay at least more one.
I wait at least 1 year for good price cut.
I wanted Z3, but price was higher. Almost ended up with M4.
Then one day, Z3+ shows up 25% off.... Z5 was twice the price..
I paid about $1850 ( 550 USD) on that day.
Mine is white dual sim.
Heat has never been an issue here.
Phone has been better than expected. No regrets.
Days have been cold, I miss a hotter phone these days.
Sony flagships take 1 year to lose 50% intial price.. Except Z5P ( costs more than XZ).
I also need to see what comes next.. I choose glass over metal back.
I do not want high screen/body.
Dual sim flagships no longer arrive here.
Only X, XA phones and L1..

sadly, i have to say, the coming flagship, it is still metal back like XZ and XZs and still have camera bump 
and Dual sim still literally here, but shared with microSD |

Usually, 300/350$ device from Sony get treated once major update which XA fall under this category.
It is not about device can perform in new OS version, it has variety of factors to determine.
Especially, Chipset maker is require to provide essential drivers for new OS as a key resources.

I still have my w395. But it no longer turns on.
Not sure if it is dead or battery needs to be replaced.
Got it after my Motorola V30 got stolen.
Only thing I did not like about it was no jack.
Earphone uses power connector on the right side.
Same place magnetic connector of Z3 is ...
Original earphone got broken, new one was expensive.
Had to use a generic one.

I'd rather have thicker phone...
If it has size of XZs but bigger battery it must be a bit thicker.
Not enought it seems.
Hybrid slot is but, but csn handle it...
But is not even available here...
No choice but waiting XA2 Ultra , if it is not 21:9
Things getteing hard..
If I buy on ebay, phone takes 50 days to be delivered to me ( customhouse burocracy which includes taxes)

IFA is a month away and there are no leaked photos so far. I want to be surprised, but I'm expecting the leaks will come soon.

Photos of XZP and others showed up one day before MWC.
Sony has become very misterious.
We do not even know the CPU. XZ1 might have 836.
The design of iphone annyversary edition and note8 seem to be what is on internet.
Maybe Pixel's might be the one of last week.

It is highly possible, all the new headphones sony is showing at ifa are wireless, including the wireless in-ear pods. |

I would say, if Sony will come with a good type C earphone with XZ1, i can accept that as i have many LDAC device already 
and i am actually thinking, what if 3.5mm gone with way bigger battery and smaller bezel? will you still accept that?
but i really doubt on Sony removing 3.5mm while they dont have music product with Type C port, it doesnt really make sense, unless Sony is planning to do it in IFA all at once to seal the secret of their new product |

I know since Z3 all flagships cam use usb for ear/headphones.
But you can not use it while charging phone.
Unless Sony uses now that project of NFC wireless charging.
In many countries, good wireless headphones are expensive.
I could buy an E5 for this price here.
You pay even more for noise cancelling.
The issue is this bigger battery might be 3000 mAh
My Z3+ has 2930 mAh , but only 6.9mm.
XZ has smaller battery, but it is thicker.
I doubt this phone has bigger battery than XZP.
XZ1 might even have s836 which will same a bit more power.
XA1 with 2300 can last more than Z5. XA1 U is even better.
In my opinion phones should have:
XA1 2900 mAh
XA1U 3800
XZs 3200
XZP 3600

i am actually thinking, what if Sony manage to make a phone like super balance
top and bottom got Type C at the same time, you can charge with any port
I think this is going to be interesting |

Hi guys, just need to know something off topic.
This is second time it happens..
SS of 1/2147483647s ... I know it seems impossible.
Sometimes when I use 8MP + hdr I see a purple/blue spot in the center of picture.
But not always.
Would my phone's cam with issues?

It would be bad for me if SONY remove headphone jack on Xperia.
If SONY make small and lightweight usb-c dac/amp then it would be ok.
