How is the sound quality through headphones? And the speed? Any basic impressions by synn, mizz or xell?
I did mention that the sound quality is brilliant for someone like me who prefers as-recorded sound. Tight bass, clear treble, nice separation. People who listens to music with artificially cranked up bass may need to install third part apps or something. Frankly, that's none of my concern.
Edit: The headphones that came with my Satio are not the in-ears, but they do have some nice frequency response and are pretty balanced. DIdn't try them out for a prolonged duration as I have my own headphones that I use for all my audio gear.
The phone is pretty snappy in all the menus. The camera takes a few secs to initialize, but that's understandable given its capabilities. Also, the in-camera picture editor takes a few seconds too. Nothing to be concerned about and certainly miles away from the Symbian phones of yore.

Yep, still owning both... My "problem" with the Satio screen is that I'm used to vibration as feedback from the TD2 and 5800xm. The Satio does not offer this or I just did not find the setting. Gives you the feeling it did not react if it does not load the chosen program/option instantly. Besides that, I find it easier to use. |

The Satio does have haptic feedback.

Im not crazy for thinking it uses the exact same interface as the nokia 5800 am I? I previously owned the 5800 and upgraded to the satio today, and the messaging, keyboard and things are exactly the same. What gives?

Hopefully something fixes that. I loathe the 5800. |

So the Satio is out and it looks awesome, I am tempted to get it, but no US 3G, thats what the Satioa is for right? BUT when will it even be released? And when that comes out it will be A LOT! while the satio will be much lower in price on Ebay, So Im not sure My current phone is the european w995 and it works well with edge so I dunno. |

Let me get the straight here, they spent all that time on the UI (i assume) only for most parts of it to look like Nokia's? Do you mean the icons or just the way things are done? As much as i like how everything looks on the 5800 and N97 it wouldve been nice to have everything in SE's A2 style in the Satio. Maybe its for compatibility with more Nokia S60v5 software
