Got my G900 today, it's charging but it looks beautiful.
Is it normal the light is (dimmed) on when the device is charging? Because that's the case here and I never had that with another mobile. |

Has anyone tried using the G900 with A2DP headsets? Is it slow like A2 platform devices or it's fast?

anyone know when this handsets going to hit the uk high street? I was in Trafford Centre today and the CPW had a dummy one on display. Got very excited until the guy said it had been put out by mistake. Idiots! In fact, he thought it was the W980! Lol the staff are really bad there sometimes. |

I can't comment on A2, but I'd say my G900 takes a much smaller performance hit from A2DP than my old PalmOS Treo did. In other words, it seems fast to me. |

thats good. I had dark brown had to give it back because there was hair stuck inside the camera so I got red one.
im charging for the 3rd time from new I charged it 12 hours ago and made 20 minute call and battery is on 70%. It might need more charges before it reaches full capacity.
Does anyone know how many charge/dischage cycles it takes before battery reached full capacity? |

Hello to all G900 owners!
I've got two questions to ask you, guys.
1. SmartLight app on G900? Is that possible... Can anyone who had installed this application on his/her phone share how they succeeded? Please share experience, cos it's definately a must have app for any phone... And whatever I do, I can't make it work on my phone...
For Those of you wondering what exactly SmartLight does:
Phone Phreak Software SmartLight v1.0
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description: Tired of the display backlight going out when you are looking at the screen - e.g. while thinking about the right word for an sms? Wouldn't it be nice if your phone knew when you needed the light and when not? SmartLight does just that: Once you have opened an application, the backlight stays on - until you close or hide the application, switching the light off automatically Once started, SmartLight runs as a background application. It can be accessed through the list of open applications (hold down the Menu key). With SmartLight running, the backlight stays on as long as the menu or an application window is in the foreground. The backlight goes out as normal (i.e. after the period selected in Phone Settings) once the user returns to the idle screen. The light also goes out as normal after receiving or making a call, and after the phone displaying system notifications (about new messages etc).
And question nr.2:
I'm using Plantronics 590 Stereo Bluetooth Headset with my phone, sound is excelent, but when i make (using voice dialing) or receive a call and i'm finished with the conversation the music wont resume playback and i have to take out the phone to start the playback manually... That's pretty anoying and in the manual of the headset it says the music playback should resume as you end a voice call. Anyone of you experiencing the same problem? How about a suggestion to solve it?
Thanks in advance. And greetings from Bulgaria! |

Yes i use mbs-100 bluetooth reciever, bluetooth speakers, platronics 595 and the dr-bt50 sony bt headphones.
All work perfectly. infact they work better on g900 than on my p990, easier to get initial connection.
updated my G900 singapore last night (1st update) well happy now, maybe more improvments have been made to bluetooth and phone!
@deppg900 - what music player you using? (need to select "transfer to headphones after drop" (dont know how its worded)
@QVGA - cause there stupid ?
@deppg900 - no dont think you can. I couldn't find a uiq3 version anywhere

When I try to make a connection with WLAN it never really connects, it just keeps on saying "connecting" even though the password I entered should be correct and it has a really good WLAN-reception. Anyone that knows how to fix this problem? |
