Hi all
Just found this thread. I have collected Ericsson for a while and recently I started
to improve my collection. Really like the posts here.
I will come back later with some questions and pictures.

Sure I recognize you from twitter! That's why I use my twitter alias here as well to notify old and new friends.

@bucheral Thanks! Yes, we have done business together.
@stolleman My first was a NH99. I also used a NMT900 combi but that was a project phone.
The fun thing with that one was that I was accused for stealing it when I walked passed Sergels Torg
In Stockholm. À place known for exchanging Goods of all kind.
What I like the most? Hmm,... Many has passed by. Maybe I liked the T68 and the R520 best. |

Here is my favourites of my collection! Curt; the Hotline NMT900 Pocket...for big pockets
And Pamela; the way too early smartphone...for big pockets as well.

Cool! I have never seen Pamela so far. As for the Hotline Pocket, great item, I think I have the same:
Ericsson Curt, is that the official codename for this Hotline Pocket?

Auction my friend, these phones were only released in Sweden
@torshammer
Thank you for the pics, Pamela looks really, uhm.. sexy does she work? what does the label on the back says? If I remember it right she is an Ericsson RX1(?)
How long have you been collecting? do you have more prototypes, concept phones or limited edition?
Many questions I know but I'm curious

This is a bit confusing, Ericsson and Sony Ericsson codenames were only girl names and the accessories boy names(?) but Curt is a boy name, why is that? Have I missed something?

True. This doesn't give a specific reason to this, but give a read to this article

@tranced @bucheral et.al
I am sure about the code name "Curt". I checked it with the R&D manager of that time.
Next in line is Emma. I will find out about the whole range if not someone else already know.
We take the collection piece by piece...oK? I dont have pictures taken yet, but will do.
Then I can tell you more.
I am not in front of the Pamela now so I cant check version number. Can not remember.
It works fine. UIQ symbian. Starts up, displays the menues, take commands with the stylus.
No touch... He he. And I have only one... Not for sale
@bucheral The info looks right to me. Nice!
I have been collecting for some years. Not very intensive.
Now when Ericsson is selling the device part all together it triggered me.
It is such a fantastic near-tearm Industry history. You can still talk to the people involved.
@bucheral What are the pieces on the side of the hotline pocket?
Looks like batteries?
This is My last treasure. T20e with that reddish color. What is the name of the color? Anyone?

@torshammer
That color is named Purple Wild, the other four colors of T20 is Blue Whirl, Lime Twist, Silver Weave and Beige Harmony.
