I read somewhere on esato that any shipped after 06/06/2003! wether or not this is true I am not sure!!

06-06-03 means shipped from expansys after that date - not production. Shipped from elsewhere, they'll all probably still be hissing! Imagine that just means expansys are guarranteeing to ship 03w22 from now on

Someone just posted that 03w22 was a non-hisser - but only due to a get-round (they've lowered the speaker volume, so no hiss, but quieter sounds....).

hmm, tomorrow the t610 is coming out on t-mobile austria and i can't await to get it 
someone on the forum said that the t610s are fixed after 21st or 22nd week.
but i guess i'll try out some of them to see if they really don't hiss. plus having my luck i'll for sure get one that hisses *lol*

Speaking to someone at Sony's eShop I was informed that 03w23 phones were hiss free. |

Also, anyone know when t-mobile getting hiss-free ones??? As there are many users here, who work for t-mobile, and were always mentioning that they were recieving new stock/batch. So... are or when are t-mobile getting them hiss free?

No BT crackle on my 03w17 with a BT200 (02B) whatsoever - in fact it's crystal clear, slightly better than the connection between my R2D P800 - are we sure this is an 'issue', as i'm more inclined to say it's a couple people with either faulty handsets, or faulty/early firmware headsets?

Has anyone been able to buy a week 23 (03W23) or later T610 and found it to be both hiss free and bluetooth static free (with the HBH-60). A lot of people have been complaining that their phone was "fixed" by just turning down the volume and not actually fixing the root of the problem. Hopefully a week 23 phone will be correctly manufactured by Sony Ericsson. |

Generic T610's are available on T-Mobile from CPW as of tomorrow.
Free on Everyone 400 and above, £69.99 and £149.99 below that.
