Nokia today unveiled the Lumia 928 with PureView image technology. The 4.5-inch Lumia 928 is exclusively for Verizon Wireless in the US
Nokia today announced the Lumia 928 Windows Phone 8 smartphone for Verizon Wireless. The Lumia 928 has a 4.5-inch OLED displa with a HD 1280 x 868 resolution, a 8.7 megapixel PureView camera with a f/2.0 Carl Zeiss lens and Xeon Flash for still images. LED for video recording. Video clips are captured with a 1080p resolution and recording quality is improved with the optical image stabilization.
The processor is a Qualcomm 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960 and installed RAM is 1GB. 32 GB of internal storage is acceptable but this can not be expanded using memory card. Nokia is offering 7GB free SkyDrive space for those who require more.
Nokia Lumia 928 will be available on May 16th.

Nice device shame it's only Verizon. It has 3 HAAC mics as well plus Xenon flash. But this is not the next big camera phone from Nokia

I think you're being a little dramatic, this seems to be what comes with the territory of working with Verizon, just look at HTC who are always releasing Verizon only phones, SE also had to make a special Xperia Play with CDMA for Verizon, they are not known as "big red" for nothing, they are the largest US carrier and seem to have quite a bit of control over some OEMs due to this. This is just a modified Lumia 920 really, I'm sure the real Lumia 920 successor will be a lot better.

They will,eventually. As i previously said,Nokia have said they plan to bring something big and special camera wise to WP in near future. Yes,the 928 and 925 are new fresher and better designs on their 920. But more is planned. Here is another video

It has 6 lenses. And before anyone starts saying Nokia copied Samsung with the camera features like removing an object from a photo. Nokia already had this ages ago with Smart Shoot which can do it. Anyway we need a Lumia 925 thread

What, Lumia 925 is a total fail. Same shit as 920, but only 16GB storage, not expandable by microSD. And this is almost year after Lumia 920, really?. So Lumia 928 is actually the true flagship and it's ment for Verizon only, nice. This is a perfect example how a good company can be ruined by bad partnership decisions, sad.

Look,this is a refresh of their flagship which is thinner and lighter and has new camera features as well as better software. It is also a refresh before the Microsoft Windows phone 8 GDR2 update comes in later in the summer. It's going to be carrier tested this month. The new update will bring the change for better hardware on Windows phone. As i previously said the main big camera phone won't be till maybe autumn as Nokia have said they are planning something much bigger 808 style. Also the internal storage depends on region there is a 32 gig variant. And this is the first camera phone with 6 elements in the camera for the 925. Nokia actually listened to complaints about the design of the 920 that it was too heavy and big. There is improvements.

Review here. Images are improved from 920 but still not perfect. I get the feeling this is WP software limitations

For all those Nokia lovers the boss is back again with a new model c6 tieing up with hmd global.
As you all know Earlier, Nokia was the number one dominant cellphone maker but couldn’t make its impression in the world of smartphones, but further chose Microsoft's Windows operating system for its "Lumia" range. But couldn’t achieve much success. And finally, abandoned both businesses.
