Hi

Adding a new language to the phone needs to be done using a software. And I'm not sure whether there's a free app like with phones though.

In this case you should add them manually.

You don't have to download the dictionary. It is already on your phone. When typing a message, press the options button-> Select input method/dictionary option and select the dictionary option(T1 I think).
