3 will be charging 1p per delivery report from June 6th.

Cheeky beggers, suppose they got to claw back some cash with the "All you can eat data".

Link?? Where does it state this?? I heard Orange were going to do this a while ago but it was scrapped. I think they just put up the cost of a text instead. I don't think it's clawing money back from all you can eat data. More like cos of the EU slashing roaming costs all the time. They claw it back from somewhere else. I can see this not being very popular. Or just turn off delivery reports. Also I hardly think delivery reports take up any network capacity

Got a text stating it this morning.

Which means they have broken the contract.

But I got on to them and they basically said pay up.

Anybody know if Orange do this on their Contract plans? On Dolphin if that's any help

No.Orange were going to do this a while ago but scrapped it. I bet other networks will follow now

The overseas CS I spoke to said Vodafone and Tmobile charge foe it ?????

Don't know if its true ? but as I said what has that got to do with me ???

Posted by Bonovox
No they don't as I am with a T Mobile contract & I don't get charged. If I did I would have the rights to terminate my contract. If you send 1,000 texts per month then what would that equate to in delivery report charges?? Do they do it as an extra charge or just put up the cost of a text?? Cos I was wondering with peoples unlimited text allowances. And does this apply to pay as you go too??
