You realize that this phone is probably 2yrs old already - if its the T9 slider that debuted along with the E71 full qwerty smartphone - both running S60 3rd Edition FP1.
Try to use PC Suite to backup and reload your OS> then sync; backup; and re-install your themes & applications.
