Something seems to be amiss. The N85 is running 3.2.3 but Nokia are DOWNGRADING future handsets to 3.2 and 3.1? Whiskey tango foxtrot?
I think Athlon might be the next big selling N-series unit. IP08 doesn't seem to have enough horsepower for it to be classified as a flagship T/S mobile phone. Ivalo might be the biggest news of 2009 though.
Corolla seems to be a bit weird. The specs shout N-series (8MP cam, FM transmitter) but the QWERTY keyboard and non-touch VGA display allude that this might be a E61-meets-N85 thingy.

Am I the only one not really excited? Nothing really new apart from touch screens. They r just jumping on the iphone wagon but without multi-touch (the thing that makes the iphone really special).

Nice lineup of smartphones, from 3.5 inch TS to big screen candybars. Nokia will have most segments of the market covered again. And now TS with QWERTY, can you say E90 succssor?!

white girl so you know that sony ericson are not so perfect as you made them sound even with the sony vaio i remember most people who had bought the newly created model had to return them because they had some faults on them.
Sony ericsons phone mostly come along with lots of software problems and you need frequent flashing of your phone just to keep it running their sounds are the best but nokia has very low sounds and durable to use.

Wish people would stop going on about the iphone. It has a great interface. Thats it. The rest is crap. Nokia are making touch screens just like everyone else and the iphone was not the first ever touch screen so Nokia and SE or LG are hardly copying Apple. Bloody iphone way too over rated. I am sticking with SE now and waiting for Idou or whatever funny name its got. Right now would love c905 but cant afford yet stuck with c510.

Actually I am with the s60, not exactly Nokia. Irrelevant though. (As long as it has the s60) Satio may be my first SE cell. Not that it means a thing to me. It might warm a hard or 2, to a brand loyal fan like you. If you are platform oriented the manufacturer is not that important anymore. Samsung, Nokia, LG and now SE - who cares. ( mind you, actually I am a tiny bit worried about the bad reputation SE managed to earn with the latest top devices it released.) would you like to drive a car that has a v12 turbocharged engine, a magnificient stereo system, amazing body work, cool upholstery.... and a SQUARE shaped steering wheel? i know you won't, because the steering wheel kills the joy. and makes the whole car suck.
it's the same scenario in here. for almost all of the mobile manufacturers: they all the latest tech stuff, still the way you access, drive and manipulate these stuff. kills the joy.
Apple beat them with the touch interface (multitouch patented application) and an extremely responsive, non sluggish OS.
and they have provided alternate key selling attribute: APP STORE.
a game that is as simple and intuitive and as tap tap revenge, enigmo or touchgrind, costs you from ZERO to 5 bucks max (some go for 10 - but these are full blown games). you have fun and utility apps like Smule Ocarina, or Bebot, . it has something for everyone. and it can be operated by a 3 year old kid.
i can see everyone is trying hard to come around apple's patents, to score a hit.
unfortunately, that's not possible.
unless they're stupid like LG, who is dancing around the danger zone.
