I have a usb cable for my D900 (didn't get the data suite CD with it). I've successfully downloaded the cable driver so when I plug the usb drive it tells me my phone is connected. I downloaded MobiMB media browser and Oxygen simpleup trial versions and both tell me that active devices not found or just wont recognize the phone.... I cant download PC Studio because my connection is pretty slow...any other software I can download?...
and in the usb settings options in the phone settings menu, what option should i choose, : modem, :mass storage or ictbridge...?
I just want transfer files from phone to pc and vice versa. Pls help

nobody there to help??

ive never really used the USB cable with neither of my Samsungs as it looks hard lol don't you have a Bluetooth adaptor? I suggest use it cos it's easier

Posted by kwabs2006
unfortunately i dont.. think i should get one?

Posted by Miss UK
yeah it makes it easy

or if you have a mem card reader on your pc thats quicker too

@kwabs2006
i assume you don't have a memory card, right? then you can just pop in your usb and the removable drive appears.

ps don't bother with bluetooth. it's more trouble than it's worth. it's slow, very slow.

when i click the drive it tells me please enter disk into drive...
i haven't downloaded any software to transfer files between pc & mobile..........
what should i do?

Posted by Brightspark
when you click on what drive?

Posted by Marly
When I remember right, you have to install PC suite first, before plugging in the USB-cable.

Posted by Brightspark
@Marly
yup, that's true.

i aint downloaded any software except the cable driver.... so when i connect the phone, a new drive pops up but tels insert disk into drive when i click it

Posted by Brightspark
it's probably just windows being crap as usual. have you tried rebooting then trying again.

Posted by kwabs2006
done thatalready

Posted by Brightspark
it sounds as if it's expecting drivers or something. maybe something got corrupted when you used the software alternative to PC Studio. are the usb drivers installed ok? go to device manager and check. maybe you need to reinstall them.

on your phone, select mass storage
