GPRS=General Packet Radio Service
Basically means you can send data at higher speeds than normal.
GPRS is charged as data, independent of connect time.
Its basically wap but a sort of broadband for your phone. It is faster than normal wap, and doesnt occupy your phone-line like normal wap does.

O2 online users get 1 MB of GPRS under the new system. After that they're charging for it at about £2.35 per MB

Whats everyone's view on the 3p texts bolt ons? Where you can get 400 texts a month for £11.99 |

Also, you get to spend the £10 on calls on the 300 text deal, whereas you don't get to spend the £11.99 for the 300 text bolt-on 
1mb of free GPRS is better than nothing, I'm glad they've kept it at that. I don't use it that much anyway, just when I want to check the weather forecast when I'm out or anything like that. |

Thanks guys, I just thought it might of been a bit better then the 300 txt bundle seeing as you don't actually get the 300 texts it's 200 texts and 300 wap minutes |

Definitely 300 texts....
Or 200 texts and 25 MMS
Or 100 texts and 50 MMS

I have just topped up my phone, I'm due to get my 300 text messages on the 19th, do i have to top up again on the 18th, or as long as I have still got £10 or over on my phone do i not need to top up |

You will have to top up anytime before the 18th but you wont get next months free txts until the 19th. If your credit goes to 00.00p then, they say, your free txts freeze until you top up again, i have never gone below 0.01p
