Hello all.

Im looking at somewhere to go for new years eve this year...

Ive found cheap flights to go to Gothenburg City but im wondering if theres much to do there in the name of good old new years eve celebrations....

I figured maybe someone on here is from there and possibly they could give me some suggestions will be looking to book this by mid week at the lastest so any feedback atall about Gothenburg City would be amazing!

Cheers all

Iceland (Reykjavik) would be different - although could be a bit pricey. Not too far though

awww nice idea.... will look into flights - it seems flights is my main restraint as some plces its really expensive to flight to this time of year - only chose Gothenburg City because flights are cheap

also if i could flight from bristol or cardiff that would be ideal

Well, I'd recommend Peru, especially Cuzco, went there two weeks ago with my classmates. It was awesome, but I don't think it would be great for new year. But you can come anyday you like !! about a week is ok to get to know most of it. Think about it, worth the money ! cheers

@leeboy

Have you been to Edinburgh (Hogmanay) yet?

That is supposed to be amazing. People keep on inviting me up there but I am yet to go.

@leeboy13

I know, it is pricey there. If you ask nicely I am sure some of our swedish friend can spare a bed for you and your missus

If you have a spare room you could always return the favour

Its one place I would love to visit actually - Sweden.

£117 for 2 nights booking in on 31st December. Twin room including a Swedish Breakfast.

Not bad for a short stay at all.
