Which phones already set to be able to run it?

Thanks

As it is the same standard, probably each phone that is technically not too dated and does support SDHC cards

Satio, Omnia HD, X10?

Most phones that came out the last 2 years should be able to handle it. It will be expensive

One day we won't need hard drives no more everything will be chips

Indeed! $200 or 150 Euro. I would like to get my hand on one but not at that price.

AFAIK the latest line up of iPhone's will not offer support for this card.

However rumours suggest the card can be had on pre order for £99 and probably half that in 2 months time.

Sorry, what does AFAIK mean?

Second, Apple will never provide support for these sorts of things and that is one of my beefs with them.

€25 and it's mine paid that for 512mb years ago

Thanks.

The news bit I read about it stated it was standard SDHC compliant, so in theory every device that supports SDHC should work with it (though 32GB is the cap of what is attainable within the SDHC spec).

hahaha .. damn.. now i know another term..but did anyone really use this term?

About the 32gb one its a class 2.. painfully slow i would rather wait for class 4 (at least) but ofcoz class 6 is good class 10 is better

I know most company making class 10 right now so you guys just hold off Kingston should release class 6 and 10 soon

Recent benchmarking tests have shown the Sandisk's class 2's to be as fast as a class 4, do a Google search for more info.

if that's the case then you guys can get class two .. but for me i still want class 6 at least

I have the 16GB class 2 Sandisk in my Nexus One and it runs apps from it with no problems or lag whatsoever so I'm happy and if the 32GB proves to be the same I'll be happy again

Posted by DrewVL

AFAIK. Read/Write speed in the phone doesnt differ much between the class types, you only notice a difference when transferring from a PC, or with a card reader.

Hopefully the price comes down in a hurry.

Less than that with worldwide shipping!

Didn't see the "less"

Great news, really far from the usual 1GB sized memory card!

Posted by MG7
Ratio between GBP/USD = 1.54
90 GBP * 1.54 = 139 USD including shipping.

Posted by skblakee
Well that price seem more sensible especially given that two 16gb can be had for $35us each.

Posted by owlsfan_72

The first memory stick I bought was a white 128mb magicgate one that cost £93 inc postage

Which was a huge amount of storage as the Clie came with a 16mb card!

So £100 for a 32gb card isn't as bad as it seems.

Posted by skblakee
Correct but with the way the prices for memory cards fall I doubt many will buy at those prices. Many like me will probably wait until prices get down to earth.
