BT Headset Disconnects With Incoming SMS Notification

My BT headset keeps disconnecting automatically when an incoming sms notification is displayed on my phone. This only happens with SMSes and not Email notifications. I have to go back to the phone menu and choose "Turn Hands Free On" after each text is received. I had this issue resolved with one of the tweak software that is no longer compatible with my exisiting rom. I'm running the latest R3A firmware and am not sure how to resolve this.

Anyone?

you haven't mentioned what model and brand bt headset you are using

This is with any BT headset... I have tried 5 so far from 4 different manufacturers.
