@fdigital: yah, there is a way! you can try using opera mini mod 2.06. i have SE k800i and i can browse the internet for free using opera mini mod 2.06. you just need to configure the network settings. what is the homepage of your network provider? to check it, go to settings>connectivity>internet profiles>more>advanced settings>homepage. and also, can you give me an address of a free wapsite that you can browse and the proxy server and port of your network provider. i'll try to help you out with the network settings that you can configure on opera mini mod 2.06.

Posted by dr.love
opera mini works on 3G phone like K800 , K750 is not a 3G phone

Posted by dennevhyn_31
@dr.love: yah k750i is not a 3g phone but opera mini works on it. i was able to install opera mini on it make it to work with free internet.

how about a wapsite that you can browse for free? is wap.mtnonline.com free to browse?

Posted by dennevhyn_31
@fdigital: Try this!

1. Open Menu>Tools>Settings>Network
2. Put a check on the box that is labeled "Shadow connect"
3. Enter "wap.mtnonline.com" on the textbox labeled "The address to connect"
4. Put a check on the box labeled "Check time-out for connections"
5. Enter "120" on the textbox labeled "Time[s]"
6. Leave the checkbox labeled "Additional" unchecked
7. Leave the textboxes labeled "Server", "Port", "Username" and "Password" blank
8. Enter "wap.mtnonline.com@80.232.117.41:80" on the Opera Mini server textbox
9. Uncheck the box labeled "Reset of a server at an error"
10. Leave the other settings without changing it then save the changes

Make sure that you install Opera Mini Mod 2.06 or Opera Mobile 8.65. I sent you a private message with the download links.

I don't think that's possible. Your carrier will charge you for the amount of data transfered as all data being up/downloaded is going in/out through its network.

Unless you know how to configure your phones data settings to exploit the carrier's backdoor or bugs (if present of course), you can't browse for free.

Posted by dennevhyn_31
@StevenC: ARE YOU SURE!!??? i have been browsing the internet for free for so many months already without any charge. i don't even have load.

Posted by StevenC
Of course I'm sure. It's a bug in your network that is allowing you to browse for free. A couple of years ago I was sunddenly able to connect for free on my cell network, but they got it fixed and now I have to pay snif snif...

Posted by dennevhyn_31
Really? Are u sure again? Hahaha! Bad for you! LMAO! It's not a bug on the network provider. Proxies allows us to browse for you.

Posted by fluke9
Same here all data has to go via my provider, there was a way to exploit O2 here in the UK but they closed that loop hole years ago.

Posted by dennevhyn_31
Actually here in the Philippines, our network providers always close those loopholes. But we always find a way to open it.

Good work !
KEEP FOOLING YOUR SERVICE PROVIDERS ,AFTERALL THEY ARE JUST MONEY SUCKERS !

Posted by dennevhyn_31
hehehe! yah! our network providers can't stop us. we're already tired of paying charges for the services that they are providing.

Posted by fdigital
hi man devn . i ve done configuration on the opera mod 2.06 as u explained but it keeps telling me network error .is there any other way i can do the stuff ..fdigital

Posted by dennevhyn_31
What is the exact error message? By the way what is the unit of your phone again? SEK750i?

Posted by med
@fdigit, firstly..make sure, that you can browse wap.mtnonline.com for free...than you can use the method...

Posted by dennevhyn_31
med is correct! if it is not free to browse, look for a site that is free to browse then use it on the settings that i gave to you.

Posted by fdigital
do u realy mean i should go get another network provider sim that browse free cos wap.mtnonline.con dosnt browse free .

Posted by dennevhyn_31
i'm not really telling you to subscrive to another network provider. we're just telling you to look for a wapsite that is free to browse. can you check if wap.amob.com is free to browse?

Posted by fdigital

Guyz that opera mod method arnt working i ve tried it somany times with other proxies but it dnt go through. plz guyz is there any other trick or mobile browser that does work

Posted by dennevhyn_31
Maybe it is not really working in yours but it works in other countries. You know it really depends on your network provider. Actually, the settings that we're giving you are correct. I think the only problem is the address that you should put on the address to connect and with the network prefix on the opera mini server.

Posted by fdigital
please does any one knows any mobile browser like opera mod that u can configure the netwok.

Posted by dennevhyn_31
I think there's none. Even if you will try any web browser, it will still not work because you're still gonna use the same settings. It really depends on your network provider.

Posted by fdigital
ok guys mine finaly got working with this IP:10.199.212.8@opm server. But i have problem downloading with it 'ie its in built downloader 'when ever i made an attempt to doxld it writes java server error blabla . pls i need your help cos most guys do use it to downld without charges. thanks

Posted by dennevhyn_31
@fdigital: great job! if you're going to download using the built-in downloader, just put 10.199.212.8@ on the download link. for example: http://10.199.212.8@www.getjar.com/downloads/file.jar. that is what i'm doing and it works great dude!

Posted by fdigital
I ve tried it worked but stoped after the second download. since then it each time i made attempt to download it wil write >> server error.....check gprs/edge settings'

But where you able to download successfully on the first try? Try to clear the cache and the traffic/memory then retry downloading. If it will not work anymore, you might need to try a different IP address.
