i-mate has officially posted information about the i-mate JAMin, which we previously heard of as the XDA Neo and HTC Prophet. The device is a new version of the i-mate JAM featuring Windows Mobile. The form factor of the device is very similar to the JAM but with a new button layout on the device. i-mate switched from a 416 MHz Intel processor to a 200 MHz TI processor, but added twice the ROM and WiFi.

My Jam plays movies through TCPMP quite well..i recently went on a two day trip outta town and had reservoir dogs & transporter2 for company...and i was quite pleased with the way the Jam held out..without having to charge it midwayr

I read about this one (and others) when I posted up the HTC roadmap but I felt this seemed like a step backwards from the k-jam

it has the same processory as the k-jam but I couldn't possibly live without the slide out keyboard now

Masseur if your so much into your built in keyboards why don't you go the whole hog and get yourself an OQO with XP?....no phone though!

I have been very tempted by it, I can tell you

but like the JasJar, it won't fit neatly onto my belt so I can have it with me always!

that is mental asxxr,

if only it had phone support id have one

will have to make do with my jasjar!

That is pretty incredible AbuBasim, enjoy it

Must say, I miss those days with all these many designs of smartphones/pocket PCs.
