Sony Ericsson to Make PSP Mobile Phone?
4 April 2007 by axxxr Rumour has it that Sony Ericsson is working on a PSP like Gaming Phone,although not a lot known at this stage the phone may have a PSP like User Interface. Like the high-end Cybershot and Walkman phones, Sony Ericsson's new "gaming" phones would pack a lot of media muscle and have an interface like the PSP. source:clipset gizmodo

The walkman software has only recently been incorporated into a smartphone. I don't think the cybershot software has yet. So this is likely to come out as a basic phone to start with, and move onto a smartphone when they've tinkered with the software and seen the reception it gets. Having said that, if anything can get the huddled masses away from their Nokia 3210s *shudder* then it'd be playstation branding. It'd be interesting to see the reception this got if it was smartphone only. Perhaps on the p700 that's just been announced?
