Sony Ericsson parts with Advertising Company
29 July 2006 by axxxr Bartle Bogle Hegarty has resigned its multimillion-dollar Sony Ericsson global advertising account after six years following creative differences.
BBH created adverts such as the recent K800i "never miss a shot" altogether BBH has carried out several global advertising campaigns for Sony Ericsson. BBH won the creative assignment for the mobile phone joint venture between Swedish company Ericsson and Japanese firm Sony at the end of 2001, following the creation of Sony Ericsson in August of that year. The agency beat Saatchi & Saatchi, which handled Sony's mobile products in the UK, to win the account.Sony Ericsson spends £8 million in the UK and an estimated £50 million worldwide on its advertiseing campaigns.
