neox,

I've tried to find the thawte certificate and I can't find it. I found it before but I wasn't sure if that was at all what I needed so I threw it away. I'm kickin' my own ass right now. but if you can find it for me please send me the link.

@mightyfo:
here's the link: http://www.thawte.com/roots/

just click on 'Accept' (u dont need to fill out the form or anything).. It will ask u to save file... Save, unzip, and BT the security extension files (2) into your K750i ( make sure you download the PremiumCA certificate first.. then the second certificate..) Just read my earlier post if ur still having problems.. happy Gmailing!!!...

I've used BT to send ThawtePremiumServerCA.cer and ThawteServerCA.cer to my K750i (and accepted the install), but I still get the "The Server Certificate for TSL/SSL isn't issued from an approved issuer. Please contact your email provider" (translated from Swedish) error when trying to POP Gmail.

Man, this certificate issue is driving me mad... I really want to access gmail using my phone. Is there anyway to install these certificates without bluetoothing them into the phone? I've tried to do a simple xml file and put in a server over internet to download the .cer files but the phone doesnt recognize them...

Neox, u said u used MyPhoneExplorer to transfer the files, did u mean over BT or cable? I dont see any BT option in MPE, how did u get it ?
