well, till now no problem occured...
- mp3's working fine
- radio working fine
- applications working fine
- cam is working fine and does not have any lag or something
I dont know why it sets back the 512 mb when formated on the phone...
anything else which could be tested ? |

I have and it works fine. Better then the other method i tried!
EDIT:
If the 256 card are actually 512mb cards, why are the 512mb card actually 1gb card then? It doesent make sense. Why dont they just bulk buy 512mb and partition for a 256mb card? Whats the point in having all these cards, all with partitions. ?

OK all you people with 512mb cards that can be turned into 1GB, can you tell me if there SDMSPD512A10 or SDMSPD512E10?
I've found both available for about the same price. My guess is one will have 1gb and one will only have 512mb, which ones which? so I know which one to buy. |

what do you mean with "SDMSPD512A10 or SDMSPD512E10?"
There is nothing like that on my card.
On my card there is just:
MSX-M512S
C468H1A
ICES/NMB-003
@Arez
dont have a 1gig card, so I cant test it

thats 1943MB of free space formated on fone and with R1L and R1N...
Flashed f/w with card out...
I would think it came to double but obviously not...
Sending Ms Duo Pro Ultra II to company that supplies the goodies for free... They are sending me scandisk at same time 1st the ! gb AND THEN tHE 2GB

hey dont want to sound dense, but my 512 memory card does show 900 odd mb of memory, but what are you pressing to erase the lot?
when i click on either the healthy or unallocated space, i dont get an 'x' appearing.
on the healthy space, and the drive letter i get 'open' and 'explore' on the task bar,
while when i click on the unallocated space i get nothing new appearing.
so what should i be doing to delete both partitons????
cheers in advance. |

me and my brother just did it
great...some people reported slower file acess, but i donīt see it...anyway, itīs normal - the phone has more memory to adress
i think we can only be sure about this after a week or two testing

@mr-partridge
you have to select/mark the icon of the drive, in the obove table where your partitions of your hdd are shown...
and then a x appears with which you can delete the partition |
