I have this PC game in which it asks riddles and i have to type in the answer, and all the answers suggested didnt work...
@blackspot - your "silence" answer worked for the first riddle when i type it in, so i knew it worked

Its only a trial version, you can get the full version free because its abandonware but from what i've read about it, it doesnt seem to be the same as the trial :/ The game's name is Hodj 'n' Podj. Do a google with the game's name and 'abandonware' , you'll get some sites to download it from

i think punctuation is the answer (as @oogs) said, because this riddle sounds familiar.
there are 14 recognized punctuation symbols, 12 of which are in common useage.

You are an archaeologist that has just unearthed a long-sought triplet of ancient treasure chests. One chest is plated with silver, one with gold, and one with bronze.
According to legend, one of the three chests is filled with great treasure, whereas the other two chests both house man-eating pythons that can rip your head off.
Faced with a dilemma, you then notice that there are inscriptions on the chests:
Silver Chest - Treasure is in this Chest
Gold Chest - Treasure is not in this Chest
Bronze Chest - Treasure is not in the Gold Chest
You know that at least one of the inscriptions is true, and at least one of the inscriptions is false.
Which chest do you open?
