Well they certainly know what they're doing.
I can just see these piled high behind the counter in HMV and Virgin Megastores.
If they manage to bring these out in different colours this will definitely by a winner. They have managed to get a head start too. |

Hints of Ericsson /// once again...
This is where they got it from, the R310s had a tubular package.

It will be interesting to see if it made available in music stores, that would be a good move for SE if it is.

I have seen this packaging in Vodafone shops in Portugal. Vodafone packed their phones with such-and-so contracts in a box that looks very similar to this one.
I'd prefer a packaging that is a bit more luxurious for a product of this price. |

if you take it to the beach, you can put your keys, phone, and money in the r310 one and burry it in the sand under your towel!

Yep, just make suer that your towel doesen´t get stolen, or blows away..
I once did the same and stuck a stick in the sand, where my gear was burried...
When i got up for the water, some kid was playing around with the stick down by the water...
Bummer !!
And that was the last i saw of my first GA628:(, i really hate that kid..

The W800 packaging is alsmot Ipodesque, always remeber the first time i opened an Ipod its all about the experience and SE want to get away from (its just a phone) and go for a more MP3 player type market.

I really like that orange memorystick by the way, and the packaging is nice like this. Its different than just a box like every phone. |
