Here's another one - Hackers!

A thread, seemingly started and/or answered by another hacker, here (unless that thread gets deleted by a mod!). I mean what do these people actually do this for? To boast? For money? Or do the really have nothing better to do?

Why can't these idiots use their talents for good - like teaching underpriveleged people to use PCs, earn a bit of money helping make software and the 'net more secure (though if they all did this there'd be no hackers to guard against - wouldn't that be nice!) or even devise a way to kill spam before it gets to your inbox! But no, they have to bring down websites, inconvenience millions of people just for a few cheap thrills and bragging rights. GET A (useful) LIFE YOU MORONS!!!!

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Admittedly itīs the best way to recommend yourself for future employers - itīs unbelievable to see all those nasty worm and virus programmers now are enrolled and high-payed by norton, mcaffee or even microsoft itself..

Whatīs next - shoot people to become weapon manufacturer?

Another one - new postings in the 'playtime! rules!' thread - every time this thread is reanimated and shown as new post my hard stops to beat for half a minute or so until my brain sorts out that it is NOT a new playtime.. arrrgh!

Gmail requests

theres a thread for all gmail requests, and offers. Use it. All those gmail things everywhere is just clutter, no need for it.

theres gmail is googles email service, you need an invite from an existing member to open an account. Theres a thread for people offering gmail accounts, but a lot of people open up a new thread for NO reason.

damn - I knew Iīd heard of it. I was thinking of joining when rumours came up that google would spam your mails with 'customer-selected-product-information'. THX

i hate going through magazines and finding something you want to buy only to read the fine print that says "model's own" or "stylist's own"...

i mean, why the hell would you photograph it and put it in the cool buys section when it's not available?!

ha, try using SAGE. It costs you a grand per time, for the multi-user editions. Say you have 10 computers, and you need them all on the SAGE system. Thats ten grand just for the right to do it, you still have to pay for the software.

Here's another one - those 'in the ear' earphones. Is it just me, or don't they stay put for more than 30 seconds? You see people jogging with these little things in their ears, but if I so much as tilt my head or breathe too heavily the damned things fall out of my ears! Does this happen to everyone, or do I have freakishly-shaped earholes?
