woo hoo at last! just updated the firmare on my O2 branded phone using the SEUS with no problems at all!
all phone nos, pics, vid etc remained, shortcuts needed reset up though and the backlight seems brighter making it harder to see the white txt in some of the menus when using the O2 theme, the benefits of the new firmware far out way these few hitches tho

ooops! itchy fingers! sorry about that. just done the update to my o2 k700, however...now i cannot access any pictures other than the ones i have taken. can't move ANY pictures. it has no start up screen anymore (although it is in the picture folder)the phone re-boots when i attempt any of the above. i have tried to do further updates, both normal and recovery but to no avail. is the firmware within the pc client? if so how can i reload it (i cannot seem to find it! by using the site) anyone got any ideas? any help appreciated. |

at last, got phone back from cpw after 4 weeks, latest software installed. was told (after they flashed the phone with the update-just like i did!) that i needed to 'update my sim card'!!!!! the thing was still locked up with 'please wait' on the screen! anyway, glad to get it back-all over! (won't recommend my local cpw-se service centre-again though) will send to hays instead! |
