What kind of information are you looking for Jake?

Following the instructions I got my K700i to connect to the internet over Bluetooth.

Jake have you installed the Java SDK from Sun? You have to have it installed before installing the J2ME SDK from SonyEricsson.

Java 1.4.05 SDK

For the complete unedited thread about using your PC's internet connection, please refer to my original post on Esato titled "Using my PCs internet connection". This can be found under the Sony Ericsson->Software forum.

That thread also has a discussion about some of the problems people faced with this and the solutions.

Happy surfing.

Hi all!As this is my first post i wanna thank everyone for all these great info!I'm a K700 owner and i tried to connect last night too and it worked just fine. One question though..is it possible to use it to connect to the "Internet Servises" ? For those who dont understand what i'm talking about i mean the 2nd icon to the right in the top of the main menu.

Have a nice day!

I DL-ed a file based on the earlier input that was: j2sdk-1_4_2_04-nb-3_6-bin-windows

Is this the one needed? It neither create any item on my SE group nor does it have device manager anywhere. What is wrong?

This is so great! Thank you people!!!
I had many troubles getting connection proxy to work when I finally worked out that I have to actually switch off and on the phone and not just to turn off the bluetooth from the phone menu when needed.

Here is a link for the greatest free browser:
http://blumonkey.org/download/cell/opera-mini.rar
(It HAS english language!)

It is cool to have internet in the bed!

FWIW, I got this working with my k750i. As a previous poster mentioned you have to run the browser (Opera Mini in this case) from the Sony Ericsson Device Explorer.

The only (minor) thing I noticed was that I had to hit the "Connect" button on the Connection Proxy application more than once to get it connected.

Of course now that I have it working, surfing using the phone isn't very fun. Are there web sites that format their pages appropriately? I have to do a lot of joystick work to get anything useful.

Take care
