can u use AAC files? Their quality is almost the same with mp3 and anyway they're similar codecs. So if we can you AAC files in Voda Live then our problem with ringtones will be almost solved. U could also convert the original mp3 ringtones of the phone to aac and be able to use them.

ANYONE PLEASE???

sorry for starting a new topic for this,
but I can't get an answer to the other thread about mp3 ringtones...

AAC files needs extension .mp4 to play on the phone - but these cannot be used for ringtones neither can amr - no matter which operator.
Only midi, imy and mp3 can be used for ringtones. Unless on voda of cource where only midi, imy can be used.

Only sollution is boykot vodafone for deliberatly ruining peoples phones out of greed - the only way they will ever learn to not be so greedy in the future

PS: no offence, but you also asked this in the K700 problem thread - please only ask in one thread instead of making multiple threads with the same question - makes it very difficult to answer and keep track.

yes - that is actually true - AMR can be used for ringtones - I mistakenly wrote that it could not.
